Literacy: Writing: Students continued working on story writing and little books on the Zones of Regulation. Reading: Text to self, text to text, and text to world connections. Math: Students continued working on statistics. They completed a Show What You Know this week. Students started our multiplication unit this week. I would encourage students to practice their basic facts at home to help with this unit! Science: Students began exploring renewable and non-renewable resources during literacy centers this week. We made boats with Maker Space and tested to see if they could hold pretend animals. Social: We started talking about innovations of ancient civilizations and how they continue to impact societies today! Restart: Healthy relationships, asking for consent, and how to handle peer pressure!
