Literacy: Poems: Math: This week in math, we began learning about algebra! Students were introduced to solving for an unknown variable and explored how symbols, such as letters, can represent missing numbers in equations. Science: Starting our space unit! Students began exploring the wonders of our solar system, learning about the Sun, planets, moons, and other objects found in space. Social: Looking at the Rise and Fall of ancient civilizations. Art: 3D Pen art! Important Info: 🎨 Tie Dye Day Announcement 🎨 Please bring a white T-shirt NEXT WEEK To celebrate the end of the school year, our class will be having a Tie Dye Day! Students will be creating their own colourful tie dye shirts at school. Please send your child with: A white T-shirt to tie dye Their name clearly written on the tag We are excited for this fun end-of-year activity! Library books need to be returned by June 12th
