Literacy:
We worked on stories! Students have been doing a fabulous job working on descriptive writing. This week students used this picture prompt to write a short story.
Math:
We finished up addition and subtraction (Show What You Know's were sent home on Friday!) and started on statistics. This week we focused on Stem and Leaf plots.
Science:
We focused on exploring these curricular outcomes:
- Buoyant force is an upward force exerted by a fluid that opposes the weight of anything placed in the fluid.
- When the buoyant force is greater than the weight of an object, the object will float.
- When the buoyant force is less than the weight of an object, the object will sink.
