March 2-6
We started the week with a very exciting writing prompt! Students had to read the text to find clues about what happened to Miss Warkentin over the weekend and then write a paragraph to support their guess.
Literacy/Social:
Students continued working on their ancient civilization research projects.
Students also explored ancient Greek root words that are still used today!
Math:
Students started working on word problems for multiplication and division. What better way to practice than by helping Miss Warkentin plan her wedding!
Students also practiced multiplication and division through math games.
Science:
Students started learning vocabulary words associated with matter!
Restart:
Students learned about decision making! Ask your child what they were willing to risk for two bendy pencils!
Art:
Students started an art project inspired by Brazilian artist, Romero Britto!
