March 9-13

 Literacy/social:

This week we focused on writing complete sentences for students social studies projects. During large group and small group instruction, we worked lots on identifying subjects and predicates of sentences.

We also worked on identifying the verb in a sentence

We also worked on writing complete paragraphs using the TIDE method.
Math:
We worked lots on multiplication and division with word problems!

We will be doing our math Show What You Know next week! Students are encouraged to practice multiplication and division at home this weekend so that they feel ready to show their best work :)
